Lynn Reed, President
A proven entrepreneur, Lynn Reed comes to Tekmos with over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. He leads a groundbreaking company powered by culture and driven to redefine what's possible for new products and experiences in the semiconductor industry. In the midst of Tekmos’ expansion, Lynn is focused on exploring novel ways in which the company can use its engineering and technology expertise to create a meaningful impact in the worlds of geothermal energy, oil and gas exploration, U.S. Military/Defense Systems, Automotive and Industrial applications as well as Life Saving Medical Equipment.
Prior to the founding of Tekmos, Lynn served as the Vice President of Engineering of Orbit Semiconductor, where he developed multiple families of gate arrays and pioneered the FPGA conversion business model. In addition, he was the President and CEO of Letni Semiconductor, which developed microprocessor IP cores, and President and CEO of Styra Semiconductor, which developed chip sets for use in Atari computers. Prior to that, Lynn founded Texas Arrays, an ASIC design center, and before that worked in various positions at Mostek Corporation in the fields of gate arrays, telecom, and industrial controls. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Bob Abrams, Vice President of Sales and Business Development
Bob Abrams joined Tekmos in 2000 and serves as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Bob is responsible for Tekmos’ global sales activities and has over 20+ years of business-building experience as a strategic member of corporate leadership teams across a broad spectrum of industries and enterprises.
Bob enjoys offering a wide range of specific chip solutions for customers providing major infrastructure systems for Oil and Gas Exploration, Geothermal Energy and Power Generation markets, Life Saving Medical Equipment, and US Defense/Military Systems. Tekmos’ current success with development of extremely high temperature devices for the Oil and Gas Services industry has opened new doors with customers to market existing products and has created opportunities to launch a new line of products in 2014.
Prior to this, he held various positions at AT&T Microelectronics, VLSI Technology and later on, Orbit Semiconductor. These experiences required marketing and developing sales directly with major customers as well as developing channels to include distributors and manufacturers representatives to expand the marketing of products and services.
Having achieved success throughout his career as an innovative and hands-on leader in Business Development, Marketing, and General Management roles, Bob brings a broad set of business skills and experience to the Tekmos leadership team, as well as a personal commitment to achieving sustainable results by building outstanding client and colleague relationships.
Bob earned a Bachelor of Business Marketing from Penn State University.
Jon Gehm, Vice President of Operations
Jon Gehm has served as Vice President of Operations for Tekmos since 2010, where he leads a number of initiatives to reengineer core business decision-making processes, including customer pricing, customer portfolio management, resource allocation, capital expenditure efficiency and product life-cycle management. Jon’s main focus is on operations and to ensure the quality system continues to improve and respond to customer needs along with continuing to improve the test floor capability and streamline the production flow.
He has international experience with global execution of fabs, assembly/test, packaging, R&D, foundries and joint ventures for Analog, Automotive, Logic and Wireless customers. Prior to Tekmos Jon has 15 years in Farming Operations across multiple counties, and a Managing Principle in Investment Banking operations.
American Society for Quality, Certified Quality Engineer, Jon is a graduate of the University of Texas and Texas Christian University. Jon has management experience in Investment Banking and Agriculture.
